Revival Conference
Bible school
Over the last 2 months there were a few meeting to discuss the situation of the Bible school. There were no new students for the new school year, and school fees of second year students did not allow the school to pay its basic costs for the building, not to mention covering other necessary costs. Additionally there was conflict regarding the director of the school, Pastor Krzysztof, who unfortunately was forced to resign. The new director of the school made a decision to close the school for this school year and to prepare to start a new school year next October, advertising and recruiting now for future students. As a result of this decision, those students who are finishing the second year will no longer have any classes. It was decided that they will finish the school by listening to last year’s lecture which were recorded on CD’s and that each student will be assigned to a local church and pastor for practical work and service in the area churches. One of the students, Adam, will be attending our home group and I will assist in helping him complete his practical studies. This decision also means that those who were teaching and ministering at the school, including myself, will have nothing to do until next October. The decision to change the director and also to close the school for this year was a very sad experience for me and the rest of the staff, not to mention very painfully wounding for pastor Krzysztof who put his heart into the school. Please pray for this situation.
Christian Businessmen’s Fellowship
A number of years ago God had placed on my heart the need to start a fellowship for Christian businessmen. The timing though never seemed to be right. As such, I wanted God to confirm when the right time would be. About 2 months ago I felt a strong urge that now was the time. That same day a Christian lawyer came to me and said: “Jerry, I think you should start a fellowship for Christian businessmen”. Another brother also said it would be good if I would start something. Soon afterwards it was known that I will not be teaching at the Bible school. I shared the idea with a few brothers in business that I wanted to include in a leadership & counsel group, and each one was very positive about it. I know that in the USA and Europe many such organizations exist. There is though no such type of fellowship in the northern part of Poland. This Wednesday will be a meeting of the core group I selected where I will share my ideas and ask their opinions. From there we will plan something for local Christian businessmen. Please pray for God’s leading in this. I have many ideas, but I only want to work towards those that are truly from God.

Family news
I’d like to thank everyone who prayed from my shoulder. The daily pain has left and I seem to have more movement in my arm after going through rehabilitation. I have a few more treatments scheduled for next month.
Renata is attending a meeting every two weeks for mothers of teens. She has invited 5 other women – 4 who are not believers, to the meeting where they share about raising teens using God’s standards. Now it is an evangelistic meeting! Praise God.
Our daughters are doing fine. Karolina will now take preparation exams before the real ones at the end of the year. The exams will determine if she can continue in the Art school. Asia and Gosia are doing well in school and look forward to Christmas break.

Renata’s uncle
Since our last newsletter Renata’s uncle came down with pneumonia. On top of that he had a heart attack. By the way he looked, we thought it was his last minutes here on earth, as they fought to save his life at the hospital. That was November 16. Now, less than 1 month later it seems like he is getting stronger and healthier, he has increasing movement in his arms and legs that were paralyzed. God is gracious and has given him yet another chance to repent and turn to Jesus. Still though his heart is hard and does not acknowledge that God exists. We continue to ask for your prayers for his salvation, and what to do after he leaves the center.

Polish National Tragedy
On April 10, 2010 Polish President Lech Kaczynski was killed when the plane he was traveling in with his wife and a Polish delegation crashed at a western Russian airport.
There are no survivors. Ninety-six people died in the plane crash. The president had been traveling with a Polish delegation to Russia for the 70th anniversary of the massacre of Polish prisoners of war in the village of Katyn. Over 22,000 Polish officers were executed there by Russians during World War II. The plane was approaching the airport at Smolensk, Russia for the fourth approach in heavy fog -- just a few miles east of Katyn -- and hit some trees at the end of the runway.
Together with the death of the President and his wife, many elite of Polish politics were killed, including the members of the President’s cabinet, the top heads of the Polish Armed forces, the head of the Polish National Bank, the head of the National Memorial Institute, former president of Poland during World War 2, and many top politicians, as well as families of murdered Polish officers who came to take part in the memorial service.
The nation of Poland underwent deep shock and national mourning for 9 days. People in every city gathered to light candles and lay flowers in memory of those who died.
