Baptism in the Baltic Sea

Some time ago Mikolaj and Tamila started coming to our home group. They are from the Ukraine. There had been some very difficult legal situations that I offered to pray for. God answered the prayer the very next day about a situation that they tried to change for the past 6 years! This led them to make a strong commitment to Christ. Immediately Mikolaj, who smoked all his life quit with no problem. This July they asked me to baptize them. What a day of joy it was for them and the start of new beginnings! Another young women 2 nights before the baptism felt the Lord urge her to do be baptized also. The baptism took place in the Baltic Sea.

Wedding

Pawel and Alicja from our home group were married this past month. At wedding were many unsaved family members. I gave a message about the love of God, comparing the saving grace of God’s love to the love that should be in marriage, mixing in an evangelistic message. Pawel’s 20 year old brother admitted to him that he was trying his best not to cry. After the ceremony I had an occasion to talk with a few family members, including Pawel’s dad. I was able to share some of my testimony and I think God started to do something in his life. Pawel’s parents live about 3 hours from us and have invited us to come and visit them when we have time.

Starogard Gdanski

I had an invitation to speak to a group of people who are trying to start a church in their city, about a 45 minutes drive from Gdynia. I was asked to speak on spiritual gifts. After some teaching we had a practical time of praying and ministering to one another

David’s Army in Gdansk

I led a Saturday seminar on the Baptism of the Holy Spirit for Pastor Krzysztof’s church. A number of people came to the sessions and then afterwards there was a time of praying for people that wanted to receive spiritual gifts. A number of people were crying or felt burdens being lifted from them during the time of prayer.

Revival Conference

On November 12-14 I will be one of the main speakers for the annual Revival conference held in Kutno (central Poland). I will have 2 main sessions and also 3 workshops on the topic of handling finances and getting out of debt. Most of the people attending will be pastors and leaders from very small churches (5-20 people in their church). Please pray that I would be open to hearing what the Lord would have me say to them in the main sessions and workshops.

Bible school

Unfortunately there is a lack of new students for the upcoming school year. This has been a problem with most of the Bibles school here in Poland. Over the past few years many schools closed for the lack of new students. Since our school is a 2 year school, most of the students are returning for the second year. The school started October 11th. My first classes will not be until maybe December. Please pray for the students attending and also for new students to sign up (new students can start any time of the year). Please pray also for the school’s financing.

Prayer needed for Jerry’s healing

Since June I have been experiencing pain in my left shoulder. I had received some therapeutic massages to try to bring relief. Unfortunately the pain is increasing and is spreading to the rest of my arm and back. I can’t lift my left arm up must beyond being extended straight out. The doctor suspects some spine and nerve damage. I am scheduled to see a specialist on November 16. Please pray for complete healing and relief from pain.

Renata’s uncle

June 1st Renata’s 69 year old uncle had a stroke which left him paralyzed on his left side and he was in the hospital for 1 month. He then stayed with us and we were taking care of him for 3 weeks - washing him, helping him walk - basically doing everything for him. Then he experienced a second stroke that left him paralyzed on his right side and he went back to the hospital and has been there for 2 months. We have been going everyday to the hospital to feed him, shave him, brings pampers, etc. We are his only family. We need to bring him extra food and feed him, for what he gets at the hospital and the care for patients there is not the best. He is a very, very difficult person to get along. He complains, moans and criticizes non-stop. He has just been released this week from the hospital and will be in a rehabilitation center to the end of December. We ask for your prayers for his salvation, for he is an atheist. Please also pray about what to do after he leaves the center. He will not be able to live on his own unless he starts to walk and can use his hands.

Family

My dad and his wife for the first time came to visit us in Poland. It is the first time that they saw Gosia (now ten years old). We had a wonderful time together. We felt such a joy that they could be with us and we had an opportunity to get to know them better. My dad is on a lot of medication and suffers from 5 different sicknesses, so it was a real surprise that he was able to come.
