Over the last 2 months there were a few meeting to discuss the situation of the Bible school. There were no new students for the new school year, and school fees of second year students did not allow the school to pay its basic costs for the building, not to mention covering other necessary costs. Additionally there was conflict regarding the director of the school, Pastor Krzysztof, who unfortunately was forced to resign. The new director of the school made a decision to close the school for this school year and to prepare to start a new school year next October, advertising and recruiting now for future students. As a result of this decision, those students who are finishing the second year will no longer have any classes. It was decided that they will finish the school by listening to last year’s lecture which were recorded on CD’s and that each student will be assigned to a local church and pastor for practical work and service in the area churches. One of the students, Adam, will be attending our home group and I will assist in helping him complete his practical studies. This decision also means that those who were teaching and ministering at the school, including myself, will have nothing to do until next October. The decision to change the director and also to close the school for this year was a very sad experience for me and the rest of the staff, not to mention very painfully wounding for pastor Krzysztof who put his heart into the school.
